Gather, Learn and Cultivate, Inc. (GLC) was incorporated in September 2024 and established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a vision of creating stronger, healthier communities through healing, support, and opportunity.
For Dr. Gray, this work is personal. Having grown up in the community he now serves, he witnessed firsthand the impact that trauma, substance use, violence, and incarceration can have on individuals, families, and entire neighborhoods. He also saw the resilience, strength, and untapped potential that existed within those same communities.
Driven by a desire to create meaningful change, Dr. Gray began exploring ways to address the root causes of these challenges rather than simply responding to their consequences. Alongside his wife, who shared his passion for helping others and strengthening the community they call home, he laid the foundation for what would become Gather, Learn and Cultivate.
Together, they envisioned an organization that would do more than provide services. They wanted to create a place where people felt seen, heard, and supported—a place where healing could begin and lasting change could take root.
What started as a shared vision soon became a reality.
Today, GLC continues to expand that vision through innovative behavioral health, crisis intervention, and reentry programs designed to help individuals and families overcome barriers, build resilience, and thrive.
At its heart, GLC is a reflection of the community that inspired it and the belief that every person deserves the opportunity to heal, grow, and cultivate a brighter future.
